Tonya Elmore is married to her knight in shining armor, Tim Elmore, and they have two very beautiful children, Taylor Michelle and Tyler Craig. They also have one very cute puppy named Pepper Ann. Her parents, Gib and Rena Dailey, raised Tonya and her younger sister in Omaha, Texas most of her life. Growing up there was always laughter in the home, and her parents taught her that with a chainsaw and duct tape most everything can be fixed. She graduated from Paul Pewitt High School in 1997and married Tim shortly after.
Tonya says she is blessed to have worked for Chambers for the last 4 years, and has grown to love everyone as family. Chambers is not just a job but part of who she is. At Chambers she enjoys prayer and Bible study that they hold twice a week. Tonya states, “The care we show our patients in unlike any I have seen, and I believe it is because of the Christian atmosphere here at Chambers.”
Tonya and her husband are youth pastors at Abundant Life United Pentecostal Church, and have been working with and caring for young people for 11 years or more. Tonya loves God more than anything, and she believes with Him all things are possible and stands firmly by his Word. She is on the praise team, drama director, and is the teen Sunday school teacher at her church. When not singing or teaching, she enjoys being lazy, reading when its storming outside, playing board games with her kids, and traveling. One day she would love to be a licensed American Sign Language interpreter.
